Job summary

Neighborcare Health in Seattle is seeking a Clinic Coordinator to provide administrative and clerical support, greet and register patients, and schedule appointments. You will work with a team toward Neighborcare’s mission, ensuring high-quality care for adults served by the Ballard Medical Clinic.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5pm, with benefits including paid time off, retirement with match, and an EAP. Prior experience with homelessness services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare clinic to open and close for business in a timely manner, in accordance with the clinic’s posted schedule.
• Check in patients and create charts: gather and update patient information.
• Answer telephones, schedule patient appointments, confirm appointments and transfer calls to appropriate staff member.
• Assist provider teams with paperwork, copying, faxing, etc.
• Manage inventory of office supplies, including the ordering, receiving and stocking of supplies.
• Monitor referrals and communicate with referral team.
• Using EMR, send tasks and communications to provider team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

The Clinic Coordinator provides general administrative and clerical assistance and support for the clinic. Greets, registers, checking-in and scheduling patient appointments. Provides Neighborcare information to patients. Works in partnership and joint accountability with other team members to achieve Neighborcare’s Mission, Guiding Principles and goals.

This is a full-time position with a weekly schedule of Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5pm. The Ballard Medical Clinic services are for adults (ages 18+) who are currently experiencing homelessness, experienced homelessness in the past year, or do not have stable, safe, permanent, or place to live. Services available include: medical care, mental health counseling, case management, insurance eligibility, health education, social services referrals, and outreach.

Compensation:

• The target wage range for this position is $24.48 per hour to $30.78 per hour.
• Final offers are individually based on various factors, including skill set, years of experience, location, qualifications, work schedule and other job-related reasons.

In this position you will:

Required qualifications for this position include:

• Required: High School diploma or equivalent.

• Experience working with people with lived experience of homelessness, people of color, LGBTQ+, varying country of origin, and abilities.
