Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer to join our team in Colorado. The role involves on-site care, injury prevention, rehabilitation, and close collaboration with athletes, coaches, and medical staff to promote safe performance and well-being.

This position is scheduled to work on call as needed, with a $3,000 sign-on bonus and an 8% pay differential for PRN duties.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site care and injury management for athletes during practices and competitions.

Key Responsibilities

What We’re Looking For
  • Certification as an Athletic Trainer through the Board of Certification (BOC).
  • State licensure or eligibility to practice as an Athletic Trainer.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with athletes and teams.

Summary
Qualifications:
EDUCATION
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject, completed the minimum required hours of supervised clinical experience or internship in athletic training and passed the Board of Certification exam, OR a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree with a major in athletic training from an accredited athletic training program completed the minimum required hours of supervised clinical experience or internship in athletic training and passed the Board of Certification exam.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
  • 1. Current, active Athletic Training certification by the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification Inc.
  • Current or ability to obtain Colorado Athletic Training Licensure
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Clear and valid Colorado Driver's license and proof of current automobile insurance coverage
