Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble medical record documentation/charts for physician(s).
• Enter the patient room with the physician during patient visits to capture and transcribe medical record documentation utilizing paper or electronic medical record applications.
• Facilitate provider-patient care ensuring accuracy and timely completion of medical records for each patient.
• Update patient history and other pertinent health information in the patient record.
• Scheduling and receiving patients; greet and escort patients to the exam room.
• Entering pending CPOE and sending documentation for review.
• Assisting physician during examinations and procedures as directed.
