Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to provide patient care in our Crestwood, MO clinic. The FNP will administer therapies, perform physical assessments, document in medical records, and educate patients on therapy plans.

The role includes on-call coverage, admission processing, and collaboration with the IV team, with potential travel to worksites as needed. This is an onsite, full-time position at Elevance Health facilities.

Qualifications

• Requires MS in Nursing and minimum of 2 years of nursing experience; or equivalent.
• Experience with IVs required.
• Active NP license to practice in applicable state required; must have FNP Certification.
• Multistate licensure if providing services in multiple states.

Responsibilities

• Administers ordered therapies according to prescriber order, facility protocols, INS standards and company policy and procedures.
• Completes admission process as directed by Center Director.
• Performs physical assessment on each patient as warranted.
• Refer to the NP on duty for complete physical assessment as needed.
• Documents all pertinent data in the patient’s medical record.
• Reports all significant changes or observations to the Center Director and follows up accordingly.
• Communicates effectively with IV team members about patient status.
• Maintains patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
