Job summary

MedCare Pediatric is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join its pediatric team with a low caseload of six clients and a strong emphasis on work-life balance. The role focuses on delivering one-on-one ABA therapy to children with ASD and other developmental disorders in a clinic setting.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Behavior Analysis or related field required.
  • Current Texas Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) license required.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
  • Two years BCBA experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for family-centered, evidence-based ABA therapy.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and behavioral evaluations.
  • Develop individualized ABA treatment plans and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
  • Provide clinical supervision, training, and mentorship to RBTs and BTs.
  • Mentor Behavior Analysts in Training (BATs) and BCaBAs.
  • Monitor client progress through data-driven decisions and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Provide parent and caregiver education to promote success across environments.
  • Collaborate with OT, PT, SLP, Nursing and other disciplines.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure BACB compliance.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field
  • Current Texas Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA)
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the BACB
  • Two (2) years of BCBA experience preferred
  • Strong clinical leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Passion for providing family-centered, evidence-based ABA therapy
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Responsibilities
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and behavioral evaluations
