Job summary

MedCare Pediatric invites a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join a pediatrics-focused team with a low caseload of six clients. The role emphasizes one-on-one care, family partnership, and work-life balance in a clinic setting.

Responsibilities include FBA/evaluation, customized ABA plans, supervision of RBTs/BTs, and collaboration with therapy disciplines to support children with ASD and developmental disabilities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in behavior analysis or related field.
• Current Texas LBA license and BCBA certification.
• At least 2 years BCBA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional behavior assessments and evaluations.
• Develop individualized ABA plans and BIPs.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to RBTs/BTs.
• Monitor progress with data-driven adjustments and report to families.
• Collaborate with OTD, SLP, PT, nursing and other teams.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field
• Current Texas Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA)
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the BACB
• Two (2) years of BCBA experience preferred
• Strong clinical leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Passion for providing family-centered, evidence-based ABA therapy

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and behavioral evaluations
• Develop individualized ABA treatment plans and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Provide clinical supervision, training, and mentorship to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Behavior Technicians (BTs)
• Mentor Behavior Analysts in Training (BATs) and BCaBAs
• Monitor client progress through data-driven decision-making and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Provide parent and caregiver education to promote success across environments
• Collaborate with Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Nursing, and other disciplines to provide comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with BACB and organizational standards
