Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; 1–3 years of experience preferred.
  • CCR P, CCRA, or ACRP-CP preferred.
  • Strong communication and analytical abilities are essential.
  • Basic computer skills including MS Office and data entry.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise project staff (CRAs, assistants, volunteers, students, consultants) and address HR issues as needed.
  • Plan, implement, and manage project data.
  • Promote the project through marketing, website, and other sources.
  • Coordinate project meetings, create agendas and draft minutes.
  • Collaborate on presentations, publications, and dissemination of results.
  • Oversee biospecimen collection, packaging, shipping, and infection control procedures.
  • Assist in preparing IRB protocols, amendments, reviews, risk assessments, adverse event reports, and informed consent documents; communicate with IRB throughout submission and review.
  • Support investigators in preparing regulatory reports, DSMB meetings and NIH RPPRs.

Job Summary

The Clinical Research Project Coordinator I provides supervision and non-clinical administrative support for the project. Responsible for initiating and maintaining recruitment, managing daily operations, monitoring for continued support for the project. This position coordinates the daily activities, assists with processing applicants, and tracks the progress of study participants. Maintains data required by sponsors, and serves as a resource to all entities/individuals involved in the program. Assists with marketing initiatives and web-site maintenance, and ensures compliance with all grant criteria.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the management of research project(s).
  • Trains and supervises project specific staff (Clinical Research Assistants I-III, volunteers, students, consultants, etc); records HR issues as needed.
  • Assists in the planning, implementation, and management of project data.
  • Promotes the project(s) through marketing, website, other sources, etc.
  • Coordinates project meetings including creating agendas and drafting minutes.
  • Collaborates on presentations, publications, and dissemination of project results, as requested.
  • Supervises biospecimen collection, packaging, shipping, and infection control procedures.
  • Aids in preparation of IRB protocols, amendments, annual reviews, risk assessments, adverse event reports, and informed consent documents; communicates with IRB throughout submission and review process.
  • Supports Investigator in preparing regulatory reports, including convening DSMB meetings and writing DSMB reports, and assisting with NIH RPPRs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • Minimum 1 to 3 Years
  • CCRP, CCRA, or ACRP-CP preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and analytic abilities
  • Basic computer skills, e.g. familiarity with Microsoft software, completing spreadsheet/data entry.
  • Ability to work with diverse populations and support an inclusive, culturally responsive environment.
