About the Role

The Clinical Pharmacist Specialist in Oncology at Sinai Hospital, Baltimore, MD works at the center of in-patient interdisciplinary care, collaborating directly with prescribers and mentoring pharmacy support staff in our newly designed comprehensive Cancer Institute at Sinai Hospital for children and adults.

Responsibilities

Under limited supervision, plans, coordinates, implements and administers the post-graduate pharmacy education training program. Demonstrates understanding for institutional, core, and program requirements as stated by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). Under limited supervision, provides a higher level of direct patient care pharmacy services for an assigned, specialized patient population to assure adequate patient care according to professional standards and practices.

• Required: 3-5 years

• Required: PharmB or MScPhm or PharmD


• Education Note: PGY-1 + PGY-2 residency (Oncology Residency Preferred) or PGY-1 residency plus 2 additional years of relevant direct patient care experience, or four post-graduate practice years of relevant direct patient care experience + board certification is required

Licensures & Certifications

• Required: Pharmacist License - Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license


• Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist

Pay Range

Pay Range: $57.92 to $86.88 Based On Experience
