Job summary

The McCormick Foundation is seeking a Forester I to manage forestry and arboricultural tasks across Cantigny Park and Cantigny Golf. You will climb, prune, monitor tree health, and assist with training seasonal staff, following safety protocols and company values.

Ideal candidates have forestry experience, including climbing and aerial lift work, and can operate in all weather while supporting park guests and events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in forestry, climbing, and aerial lift operations preferred.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform at-height arborist tasks: pruning, rigging, removal, and tree care in Cantigny Park and Golf Course.
• Maintain and monitor trees, shrubs, and landscape features following safety standards.
• Coordinate with Forestry Manager and Lead Forester; train seasonal staff and interns.
