Job summary

The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a climbing arborist to join our outdoor team in Meredith, NH. You will climb, prune, and remove trees using DdRT/MRS or SRT/SRS systems and collaborate with a crew leader and ground crew to deliver safe, high-quality tree care services.

Responsibilities include installing cables and braces, removing hazardous trees, and operating equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.
• Previous tree climbing or crane climbing experience is required.
• Preferred background in forestry, horticulture, landscaping, or working at heights.

Responsibilities

• Climb trees using DdRT/MRS and SRT/SRS climbing systems.
• Operate with ground crew and crew leader.
• Perform pruning and removal safely and skillfully.
• Pruning, thinning, crane climbing and removing deadwood throughout the tree canopy.
• Installation of cables, bracing and lightning protection systems.
• Removal of hazardous trees.
• Maintain, prepare and operate tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts.
