The Davey Tree Expert Company in Austin, TX is seeking a climbing arborist to join our outdoor team. You will perform tree pruning, removal, and health-focused work using climbing systems and ground support.

You will operate with safety as a priority, complete training on Davey Orientation and First Aid/CPR, and contribute to our safety-driven greenspace stewardship. Excellent benefits are provided.

Qualificações

• Love of the outdoors.
• Background in Forestry, Horticulture, Landscaping, or working at heights.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire.
• Ability to complete the Davey First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire.
• Preferred: Relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law.

Responsabilidades

• Climb Trees using DdRT/MRS or SRT/SRS climbing systems.
• Operate as an active crew member with ground crew and crew leader.
• Perform all aspects of tree pruning and removal safely and skillfully.
• Pruning, thinning and removing deadwood throughout the tree canopy.
• Installation of cables, bracing and lightning protection systems.
• Removal of hazardous trees.
• Maintain and operate all tools and equipment including chainsaws and chippers.
