The Davey Tree Expert Company in Naples, FL is seeking a dynamic Climbing Arborist to join its outdoor-focused tree care team. You will climb trees using DdRT/MRS or SRT/SRS systems, prune and remove limbs, and perform safety-focused work with a crew on site each day.

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors.
• Background in Forestry, Horticulture or Landscaping, or working at heights.
• Must complete Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program on hire.
• Must complete Davey First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course on hire.
• Preferred pesticide/licensing as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Trim and remove trees and limbs to improve health and safety.
• Climb Trees using DdRT/MRS and SRT/SRS systems.
• Operate as crew member with ground crew and crew leader.
• Perform pruning, thinning and removal of deadwood in the canopy.
• Install cables, bracing and lightning protection.
