The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a dedicated Climbing Arborist to join our outdoor team. Your office is outdoors and you’ll climb trees using DdRT/MRS or SRT/SRS climbing systems, performing pruning and removals for client sites.

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors.
• Preferred: Background in Forestry, Horticulture, Landscaping, or working at heights.
• Preferred: Class A or B CDL.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire.
• Ability to complete the Davey first aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire.
• Preferred: Relevant pesticide licenses/certificates as required by state law.

Responsabilités

• Trim and remove trees, remove diseased or dying limbs to maintain health and safety.
• Climb trees using DdRT/MRS and SRT/SRS climbing systems.
• Operate as a crew member with ground crew and crew leader.
• Pruning, thinning and removing deadwood from the canopy.
• Install cables, bracing and lightning protection systems.
• Maintain and operate tools including chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts.
