The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking an experienced Climbing Arborist in Portland, OR. Outdoors-based role with a focus on pruning, removal, and tree health support.

You’ll work with a crew to perform safe, skilled canopy work using multiple climbing systems, with all safety protocols and equipment provided. Join a national leader in arborist services offering robust benefits and career development, including health plans and 401(k) matching.

Competenze

• Love of the outdoors
• Background in Forestry, Horticulture, Landscaping, or working at heights
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire
• Ability to complete the Davey First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
• Preferred: Pesticide and related licenses/certificates as required by state law

Mansioni

• Climb trees and perform pruning and removal safely
• Operate with ground crew and crew leader as part of a team
• Maintain, prepare and operate tools and equipment including chainsaws and aerial lifts
• Install cables, bracing and lightning protection as needed
• Remove hazardous trees and manage canopy work
