The Davey Tree Expert Company in Portland, OR seeks an experienced Climbing Arborist to grow with a dedicated greenspace team. You will climb, prune, and remove trees, using DdRT/MRS or SRT/SRS systems, while prioritizing safety and client satisfaction.

You will work on-site with a crew, receive comprehensive training, and enjoy benefits including PTO, holidays, 401(k) with match, health plan, and employee ownership.

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors.
• Background in forestry, horticulture, landscaping, or working at heights.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire.
• Ability to complete the Davey First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire.
• Preferred pesticide and related licenses/certificates, if required by state law.

Responsabilités

• Climb and prune/remove trees using DdRT/MRS and SRT/SRS climbing systems.
• Work as part of a crew with ground crew and crew leader.
• Perform tree pruning and removal safely and skillfully for clients.
• Prune, thin, and remove deadwood in the canopy; install cables, bracing, and lightning protection.
• Remove hazardous trees and maintain tools and equipment including chainsaws and aerial lifts.
