The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a climbing arborist to trim and remove trees in Columbus, OH. You’ll work on-site with a crew, using multiple climbing systems to safely prune, remove deadwood, and install protection as needed.

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors.
• Background in Forestry, Horticulture, Landscaping, or working at heights.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program and safety courses on hire.
• Pesticide licenses/certificates preferred where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Climb trees using DdRT/MRS or SRT/SRS climbing systems.
• Work with ground crew and crew leader.
• Prune and remove deadwood and perform tree pruning/removal safely.
• Install cables, bracing, and lightning protection systems.
• Maintain and operate all tools and equipment safely.
