Job summary

The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a dynamic Climbing Arborist Crew Leader to oversee a field crew, plan outdoor arboriculture tasks, and ensure client satisfaction. Your office is outdoors, with a focus on safety and technical tree care.

You will mentor team members, operate chainsaws, chippers, and lifts, and participate in ongoing Davey safety and development programs while advancing through career paths.

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors and willingness to work in varied weather.
• Ability to complete Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program on hire.
• Ability to complete Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course on hire.

Responsibilities

• Directs crew and equipment to plan and execute assigned arboricultural tasks.
• Lead pruning, thinning, and removal of deadwood from tree canopies.
• Install cables, bracing and lightning protection systems.
• Mentor crew members through the Davey Career Development Program.
