Truetimber Arborists is seeking a Climber Foreman (Crew Leader) to guide a skilled arborist team in delivering high-quality tree care. The role emphasizes outdoor leadership, safety, and client satisfaction while advancing career growth in arboriculture.

The position offers relocation assistance up to $2,000 for candidates moving to the Yorktown, VA area and opportunities for 40+ hours per week with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum leading a tree care crew or equivalent.
• Hands-on tree climbing, rigging, pruning, removal experience.
• Knowledge of pruning techniques, equipment use, and safety standards.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL Class B pursued.
• ISA certifications or similar are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a tree care crew to ensure productivity and safety.
• Plan daily tasks, allocate resources, and delegate responsibilities.
• Operate and direct aerial lifts, cranes, and heavy equipment as needed.
• Regularly climb and perform tree work to support production.
• Conduct on-site safety meetings and enforce OSHA policies.
• Maintain equipment, vehicles, and job site cleanliness.
• Communicate with clients and crew to address concerns.
• Complete job paperwork and site assessments accurately.
