Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Climate Solutions Tech (Service Tech I) in the Power/HVAC division to perform jobsite installations and minor repairs on HVAC and dehumidification equipment at customer locations. You will operate the delivery vehicle safely and provide excellent customer service.

This role requires a High School diploma, basic HVAC repair knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge with repairing and maintaining HVAC equipment preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude including knowledge of tools applicable to position.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Willingness to be on an on call rotation for 24/7 emergency service.

Responsibilities

• Minor repairs, maintenance checks and the cleaning of equipment.
• Report equipment condition before and after usage.
• Demonstrate equipment for customers.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
