Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is seeking a Climate Solutions Equipment Associate in the Power/HVAC division to perform jobsite installations and minor repairs of HVAC and dehumidification equipment at customer locations. You will operate a delivery vehicle safely and demonstrate equipment to customers, supporting a professional service mindset.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge with repairing and maintaining HVAC equipment preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude including knowledge of tools applicable to position.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Willingness to be on an “on call” rotation for 24/7 emergency service.

Responsibilities

• Minor repairs, maintenance checks and the cleaning of equipment.
• Report equipment condition before and after usage.
• Demonstrate equipment for customers.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
