Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Climate Solutions Branch Manager in the Power/HVAC Division to lead a major business unit, hire and motivate a skilled team, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will build a profitable location using your management skills, ambition, and competitive drive.

The role emphasizes leadership, financial oversight, safety excellence and strategic sales initiatives across multiple roles, from sales to maintenance and drivers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 5+ years of branch or profit-center management with P&L responsibility.
• Understanding of business accounting principles and budget preparation.
• Strong sales and customer service experience; outside sales preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, pneumatic systems.
• Effective leadership, motivation, organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge/experience in equipment rental industry preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall branch operations to ensure safety, productivity, customer service and profitability.
• Oversee sales efforts and business initiatives.
• Prepare reports including profit and loss statements, monthly operating reviews, yearly budgets and other reports.
• Manage personnel matters.
• Oversee safety matters, including audits, safety training, OSHA compliance, DOT regulations and drug/alcohol testing.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
