Job summary

Maryland Port Administration (MPA) seeks a Remediation Engineer to join the Office of Environment, Safety and Sustainability as Climate Change Design Manager, leading large multi-disciplinary projects from concept through completion.

You will oversee site remediation, civil/site design, stormwater management, energy efficiency, and emission-reduction initiatives, guiding an engineering team to meet scope, schedule and budget while advancing resilience for port infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Maryland Professional Engineer license is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience managing engineering projects as a licensed professional engineer.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple concurrent engineering projects within scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
• Lead site remediation, civil/site design, stormwater management, sea‑level rise resiliency, and emission reduction initiatives.
• Guide engineering teams to develop solutions for Climate Solutions Now Act 2022 and for energy efficiency and sustainable infrastructure.
