Job summary

Bloomberg is seeking a Team Leader for the Climate Data Team to lead a high-performing group focused on climate and nature datasets. You will guide data management, expand coverage, ensure quality and timeliness, and collaborate with product and engineering to deliver impactful climate data.

This role involves transforming data into data products used by clients, working with global colleagues and partners across News, Sales, Analytics, Data Governance, and Engineering to drive business impact

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience.
• 3+ years in climate science, climate finance or climate policy.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong data management and governance understanding.
• Excellent problem solving and attention to detail.
• Proven project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead large climate data projects and grow a high-performing team.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, and Sales across regions.
• Recruit, coach and mentor climate data experts to deliver client value.
• Improve workflows to ensure data quality and timeliness.
• Drive innovation in people, product, and processes.
• Represent product at client visits and industry events.
