Job summary

NRDC (the Natural Resources Defense Council) seeks a legal intern for its Climate & Energy Department in Washington, DC. This 10-week internship reports to the Legal Director of Federal Climate and requires onsite presence three days per week.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing projects and priorities for NRDC's Climate & Energy Department, Power Division.
• Participate in strategy discussions and draft legal memoranda and sections of briefs.
• Interview standing declarants and conduct related legal research.
• Draft comment letters and research related legal issues in administrative advocacy.
• Collaborate with litigation team interns in the D.C. office and engage in NRDC’s legal community.
