Job summary

Northwest Passage, Ltd. in Wisconsin is seeking a Transport Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for clients across our programs.

You will operate company vehicles for intakes, discharges, court appearances, medical and clinician appointments, visits, and intra-program needs. Ideal candidates will have a valid driver’s license, pass driving history and criminal background checks, and show strong communication, neat appearance, and a friendly, helpful demeanor.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to pass driving history standards for insurance.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Neat, clean, and professional appearance.
• Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and supervision of residents.
• Communicate effectively with clients, facility staff, supervisors, and co-workers.
• Complete documentation related to transportation services.
• Follow WI DOT laws governing driving and use of vehicles on public roadways.
• Ensure passengers wear seatbelts and doors remain locked while moving.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and remove trash or personal items post-transport.
• Refuel vehicle after each transport and prep for next run.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs to transportation coordinator.
• Represent Northwest Passage professionally.
• Read and follow NW Passage policies and procedures.
