This role sits within our client's Investor Relations Technology organization, responsible for enabling the firm's global fundraising, investor engagement, and limited partner servicing activities across Private Equity, Growth & Venture, Capital Solutions, Credit, and Real Assets investment platforms. The position will focus on the technology ecosystem supporting Investor Relations teams worldwide and the key systems that drive fundraising, investor communications, and reporting functions.
Combining business acumen with technical leadership, the successful candidate will manage a team of domestic analysts and offshore developers, quality assurance professionals, and technical architects. Working closely with Investor Relations stakeholders, external vendors, application teams, and technology partners, this individual will help deliver and enhance solutions across platforms such as Salesforce CRM, Snowflake, Affinity, and emerging AI and automation technologies that support fundraising operations, investor servicing, and reporting.
Responsibilities will include leading strategic Investor Relations technology initiatives such as CRM integrations with fund accounting platforms, relationship intelligence solutions, and AI-driven process automation. The role will also contribute to broader technology programs, participating in everything from strategy development and solution design through implementation, integration, and ongoing support. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Analysis & Solution Delivery
- Lead the discovery, documentation, validation, and testing of technology solutions that support global fundraising and investor relations activities.
- Convert complex business objectives and operational requirements into detailed technical specifications and actionable project plans.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, increase efficiency, and enhance platform capabilities.
- Maintain oversight of key applications supporting Investor Relations operations, including CRM platforms, data and analytics environments, deal management systems, fund closing solutions, and LP reporting processes.
Stakeholder Partnership & Communication
- Collaborate with Fundraising, Client Relations, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and other business groups to ensure technology initiatives align with organizational priorities.
- Develop and communicate project updates, release communications, product roadmaps, and implementation plans to key stakeholders.
- Serve as a strategic partner to the business by balancing operational priorities with technology standards and long-term IT objectives.
- Direct and mentor a blended team of onshore analysts and offshore developers, QA professionals, and architects while managing third-party service providers and application support partners.
- Ensure external vendor solutions and services meet established technology standards and business requirements.
- Manage software deployment schedules, annual budgeting activities, vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and coordination across internal and external delivery teams.
Process Improvement & Subject Matter Leadership
- Serve as a functional expert in investor relations, fundraising operations, and limited partner servicing processes.
- Drive new platform integrations, including CRM-to-fund-accounting connectivity, while overseeing upgrades and enhancements to existing applications.
- Promote best practices in business systems analysis, product ownership, project governance, data management, and responsible deployment of AI-enabled technologies.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or technology delivery within buy-side investment management, alternative investments, or asset management environments, including direct support of Investor Relations or fundraising functions.
- Demonstrated experience supporting investor-facing operations within private equity, private credit, alternative asset management, or similar investment organizations.
- Hands-on experience evaluating, implementing, and supporting solutions across the investor lifecycle is required.
- Experience with platforms supporting CRM, DDQ management, email marketing, investor onboarding, service ticketing, LP portals, reporting, and analytics is highly desirable.
- Deep knowledge of the complete fundraising and investor lifecycle, including prospect development, due diligence, fund closings, capital calls, investor communications, and ongoing reporting across multiple funds, strategies, and global regions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives while delivering business-focused technology solutions.
- Exceptional communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both business leaders and technical teams.
- Experience operating within Agile and Scrum-based delivery environments.
- Prior success leading hybrid teams consisting of analysts, developers, architects, and QA professionals across onshore and offshore locations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to translate sophisticated business requirements into scalable technology solutions.
- Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Affinity, InvestorFlow, or comparable systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with investor portal technologies including FIS DX, Intralinks, InvestorFlow, eFront, or similar platforms is preferred.
- Experience assessing, implementing, and optimizing AI-enabled solutions that improve operational efficiency and business processes is strongly preferred.
