Job summary

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a Client Systems Admin/Helpdesk Support professional in Colorado Springs to provide Tier I/II system administration and help desk support for classified systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure secure, reliable access.

Responsibilities include installing and maintaining servers/workstations, monitoring system health, updating documentation, and supporting RMF/JSIG/ATO processes. A TS/SCI clearance and Security+/A+/Net+ are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5-7 years of related experience preferred.
• US Citizenship required for clearance.
• TS/SCI clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier I/II system administration and help desk support for classified and mission systems.
• Install, configure, maintain, and update servers, workstations, operating systems, and mission applications.
• Respond to user requests via phone, email, portal, and walk-in support with timely resolution and accurate ticket tracking.
• Monitor system health, performance, backups, and availability; identify issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Maintain and update technical documentation, SOPs, inventories, audit logs, and configuration records.
• Support cybersecurity/compliance activities by applying patches and assisting with vulnerability remediation per RMF/JSIG/ATO.
