Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing job training, employment placement, and support services for individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment. With a focus on empowering individuals to achieve greater independence and inclusion in the community, Ohio Valley Goodwill has been serving the Greater Cincinnati area for over 100 years.

Our organization is seeking a people oriented individual to support our employees while maintaining excellent quality services with our client in the Federal Building.

Client Support Services Supervisor is responsible for providing guidance and supporting our employees in the Janitorial and Mailroom Departments. Responsible for coordination of all Janitorial and Mailroom activities, and Customer liaison and communications, employee safety, proper equipment maintenance, quality control, and productivity goals and objectives.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION: High school graduate or GED certificate, some college preferred.

EXPERIENCE: 3 to 5 years’ experience as a supervisor.
Janitorial Experience Preferred. Prior mailroom experience helpful.
Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Typing Skills.
Must pass an initial drug test and random drug testing.
Must pass extensive Contract’s Security Clearance/ Criminal background tests.

KNOWLEDGE: Standard office policies, procedures, and methodologies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Coordinate mailroom activities within the designated faculty in conjunction with Production Supervisor of Mailroom.
  • Schedule and coordinate the delivery and productivity of all contracted services. Control the acquisition, storage, and distribution of all supplies. Meet or exceed all quality performance and delivery standards, goals, and objectives.
  • Establish a training outline for all tasks, provide positional training, and provide appropriate cross-training to ensure delivery standard compliance at all times.
  • Coordinate production activities to maintain a level and consistent flow, including vendor shipments, inventory flow, setup, production, inspection, packaging, and shipment.
  • Work in collaboration with the Janitorial Service Project Manager regarding daily inspections, daily janitorial assignments and training and directional support of janitorial staff at PECK and at NIOSH locations.
  • Work directly with Mailroom and Janitorial Staff regarding their daily responsibilities.
  • Provide customer service to Janitorial and Mailroom customers.
  • Interact with customers and vendors as necessary.

PERIODICAL DUTIES: Conduct operational, safety, and quality audits and assessments.

OCCASIONAL DUTIES: Other duties and assignments as directed
