Deer Designer is seeking a proactive Client Success/Account Manager to bridge clients with our remote design team. You will transform vague briefs into clear creative direction, maintain momentum, and optimize the production flow in our fast-growing subscription design business.

You’ll own client outcomes, push back when inputs are unclear, and use AI tools to structure communications and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a client-facing role such as Account Management, Project Management, or Client Success.
• Fluent English with precise, direct communication.
• Understand design concepts like layout, hierarchy, branding and UX.
• Able to push back on vague briefs and ask hard questions.
• Experience using AI to structure thinking and improve output quality.
• Agency or subscription-based business experience is a plus.
• Comfort with Figma/Photoshop for review and async workflows.
• Ownership mindset focused on outcomes, not just activity.

Deer Designer is a design subscription service for mid-market marketing teams. We provide a dedicated, Creative Director-led design team for a flat monthly fee. With a global, remote-first team, we offer a stable career focused on proactive communication, ownership, and innovative workflows.

Tasks

This is not traditional customer support. You are the vital bridge between our clients and our creative teams. Your mission is to turn vague client goals into razor-sharp creative direction while keeping the production engine moving without friction.

You aren't just a "replier"—you are a consultant who advocates for the client’s vision while having the backbone to challenge them when their input is vague. You will use AI tools to summarize, structure, and refine communication so you can focus on what matters: high-level judgment and driving successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• AI-Enhanced Workflow: Leverage AI to draft, structure, and refine your communication and internal processes to 10x your efficiency.

Requirements

• 2+ years in a client-facing role (Account Management, Project Management, or Client Success).
• Flawless English: You communicate with precision—structured, direct, and clear.
• Design Literacy: You understand the basics of layout, hierarchy, branding, and UX. You don't need to design, but you must "speak the language."
• The "Backbone": You are comfortable pushing back on clients and asking the hard questions required to get the job done right.
• AI-Proactive: You already use AI to structure your thinking, identify risks, and improve your output quality.
• Agency Experience: (Big Plus) Familiarity with creative services, design agencies, or subscription-based business models.
• Technical Comfort: Familiarity with tools like Figma or Photoshop (for review purposes) and async-friendly workflows.
• Ownership Mindset: You focus on outcomes, not just activity. You fix gaps rather than blaming them.
