Job summary

TIAA is seeking a Client Outreach Retention Consultant in Charlotte, NC to engage clients exploring fund transfers and educate them on investment options. The role partners with the National Contact Center and advisory teams to resolve questions, facilitate transfers, and position TIAA solutions as appropriate.

The position starts non-exempt with hourly pay and overtime eligibility, transitioning to exempt status after training, with a 40-hour work week at the same hourly rate.

Qualifications

• University degree preferred.
• 2+ years in client outreach or retention.
• FINRA Series 6/7; Series 63 required.
• Life and Health Insurance License (National) within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Addresses client questions and educates on investment options to resolve inquiries.
• Receives inbound transfers and educates clients about advisory services.
• Performs outreach calls to retention clients within SLAs.
• Refer clients to suitable advised solutions based on needs and engagement level.
• Educates internal partners on process updates and cross-training.
• Participates in proactive outreach campaigns and pilots as needed.
