Vantage is seeking a Client Success Manager to guide GPs, portfolio operators, and IR teams at leading investment firms from onboarding through steady-state use and expansion.
You will lead onboarding, training, and ongoing relationship management, tracking adoption and ROI while building internal champions and ensuring high client satisfaction. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape a new CS program within an AI-native platform.
Reports to: Michael Limongello, Head of Customer Success Location: Remote or New York
Vantage is an AI-native portfolio intelligence platform for institutional capital allocators: venture funds, private equity firms, fund-of-funds, LPs, and family offices. We pair software with an embedded bench of analysts and operators who work directly inside our customers’ portfolios, so firms get not software or services, but both. Every metric we surface is citation-grounded: traceable to its source document and page, a standard that legacy platforms and general-purpose AI tools cannot match.
Every number a GP reports to their LPs starts life inside a PDF. Today it gets from that PDF to the LP letter by way of an analyst, a spreadsheet, and a chain of copy-paste that nobody can audit and everybody trusts anyway. We replace that chain. We are pre-launch, with a private alpha cohort live today. We are launching this year, in a category that is fragmented at best and where nobody has yet built the AI-native version of it at scale.
As a Client Success Manager, you'll guide GPs, portfolio operators, and IR teams at leading investment firms from onboarding through steady-state use and expansion. Adoption is the starting point, not the goal. Success means clients rely on Vantage for high-stakes work like board prep, LP reporting, and portfolio monitoring. You'll be the person they turn to, embedding the platform into how their firms run day to day.
Strategic Implementation: Lead clients through onboarding and integration of Vantage into their existing workflows, ensuring smooth adoption and optimal use of the platform
Training & Enablement: Run hands‑on training with champions and power users, evangelizing what the platform can do until it becomes indispensable to their daily work
Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for your accounts, taking a prescriptive, consultative approach and acting as a thought partner, not just a support line
Success Metrics Management: Track adoption, usage, and health signals to drive proactive strategies that protect satisfaction and demonstrate ROI
Advocacy & Engagement: Build engagement with users and stakeholders across the firm, turning early adopters into internal champions and, eventually, references
Customer Health Monitoring: Use platform data and direct feedback to catch risk early and well before it becomes a renewal conversation
Feedback Loop: Capture and relay client insight to Product, helping shape what gets built next
Travel: Some travel required for client site visits and company offsites
Experience in enterprise SaaS customer success, or a background in venture capital, private equity, or institutional finance with direct exposure to managing large-scale technology rollouts
Excellent communication and strategic planning skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders from analysts to GPs and partners
A results‑driven approach. You can ruthlessly prioritize across competing demands and sophisticated, high‑expectation clients
A collaborative, proactive, team‑first mindset. You're building this function, not just executing an existing one
A seat at the ground floor of an AI-native platform reshaping how institutional investors operate
The opportunity to help build Vantage's Customer Success program from scratch
A collaborative environment that rewards ownership and growth
