Unruh Law, P.C. is a disability benefits law firm based in San Francisco, CA, proudly serving veterans nationwide. Our mission is to help veterans receive the benefits they’ve earned, and we’re hiring a Client Success Coordinator to be the friendly, reliable first line of support for our clients.

About the Role

This is a phone-forward, client-facing role with light legal assistant duties. You’ll spend most of your day speaking with clients—providing updates, answering questions, setting expectations, and keeping cases moving. You’ll document every interaction clearly in Filevine, help with basic case tasks, and coordinate closely with the attorney to ensure a smooth client experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Make and receive client calls; provide timely, compassionate updates and clear next steps
• Document all communications and tasks in Filevine and keep matters organized and current
• Triage issues, escape to the attorney when needed, and follow through to resolution
• Calendar key dates, track tasks, and keep cases on schedule
• Light legal assistant support: request records, organize medical documents, prepare simple forms/letters, and submit routine filings with the VA as directed
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional, courteous communication at all times

Requirements

• 1+ year in a client-facing role at a law firm (veterans benefits experience a plus)
• Valid PIV (Personal Identity Verification) card — required
• Familiarity with Filevine preferred (or strong aptitude to learn quickly)
• Comfortable and confident on the phone; thrives on helping people and de-escalating concerns
• Highly organized self-starter with excellent follow-through and attention to detail
• Clear written communication; reliable documentation habits; discretion with sensitive information
• 100% Remote (U.S.-based)
