Job summary

Talan is hiring a Client Solutions Software Engineer for a Chicago-based role with hybrid onsite requirements. The position focuses on software deployment, system integration, and customer-facing activities within enterprise environments.

Visa sponsorship is offered for eligible candidates, with TN and E-2 visas available. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in CS/IS/Software Engineering and 2–4 years of relevant experience, with AWS and scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

Qualifications

Master's degree in CS/IS/SE or related field.
2–4 years of experience in system administration, software deployment, or infrastructure support.
Strong troubleshooting and customer-facing skills.
Experience with virtualized environments and AWS knowledge.

Responsibilities

Deploy, configure, and upgrade software in customer environments.
Design and recommend system architectures and deployment models.
Provide technical support for system integration, databases, licensing, and infrastructure.
Deliver admin and technical training to customers.
Develop and maintain automation scripts for deployment and troubleshooting.
Support pre-sales and post-sales engagements, evaluations, and installations.
Collaborate with engineering, support, and customer success teams for successful implementations.
Participate in automation and process optimization initiatives.
