Truist is seeking a Collections Specialist to collect delinquent accounts and deliver professional client service according to policy. You will negotiate payment arrangements, document outcomes, and maintain accurate account records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education and related training or experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic Computer skills.
• Ability to perform in a fast paced, highly dynamic environment.
• Ability to work flexible schedule, including overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Achieve performance expectations for collection efforts based on goals and metrics.
• Provide cure plans and negotiate payment arrangements to cure delinquency.
• Disclose account information accurately and professionally.
• Communicate with Client Default Leaders about repossessions and related matters.
• Process payments, transactions, and workflows accurately.
• Document all collection efforts in the system of record.
• Execute on established call scripts documented in policy and training.
• Maintain acceptable call monitoring scores in all categories.
• Complete required CBT courses accurately and on time.
