Location Restrictions:
This is a remote position requiring candidates to be in the Midwest US. Travel to meet clients or partners is expected around 50%, with short notice (1-2 days). Candidates should not have recurring travel constraints.
Position Overview:
The Client Solutions Architect (CSA) in the Central Region leads solutioning for opportunities involving hardware, software, and services in Data Center, Networking, Security, Digital Workplace, Cloud, and Cybersecurity. Responsibilities include client acquisition, retention, satisfaction, and achieving revenue and margin targets by understanding client needs, developing relationships, and leading solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in sales enablement and provide product insights.
- Identify opportunities with the sales team.
- Manage pipeline and forecast revenue.
- Understand Zones' product and service offerings thoroughly.
- Qualify opportunities and scope solutions.
- Coordinate with solution experts for client discovery.
- Develop win strategies and proposals.
- Create technical and pricing documents.
- Build relationships with OEM and delivery partners.
- Prepare design documents and conduct solution presentations.
- Collaborate with OEMs and influence deal registration.
- Work with delivery partners for pricing and solutions.
- Align solutions with client CIO/CTO goals.
- Maintain relationships within client organizations.
- Perform short-term billable engagements when needed.
- Ensure customer satisfaction.
- Support sales activities and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 12 years in IT infrastructure, with 5+ years in pre-sales.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Understanding of industry, market, and client needs.
- Ability to travel ~50%.
- Expertise in Networking, with knowledge of Digital Workplace, Cloud, Data Center, and Security.
- Experience in strategy and technology consulting.
- Knowledge of cloud offerings.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary range: $167,000 - $198,000 + bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k), paid time off, and more.
