Job summary

SCIS is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to protect client sites and property. You will control access, monitor entrances, and ensure a courteous, safety‑mocused environment for employees and visitors.

You will perform patrols, document incidents, and enforce site rules in collaboration with client representatives. Required are a high school diploma or GED, reliable communication, and the ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure.

Qualifications

• Must acquire and maintain any required clearances and licensing.
• Excellent customer service and professional communication are essential.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and report incidents accurately.
• Experience in security operations and adherence to policies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Controls access to client site; screens visitors and employees for entry.
• Maintains a courteous, professional image of the client and security dept.
• Monitors entrances/exits; manages movement of people and vehicles.
• Patrols assigned site; inspects for hazards and security violations.
• Records logs and writes reports; communicates incidents to management.
