Job summary

LPU Batangas is seeking an Investment Accounting Analyst in Boise, Idaho. You will manage client inquiries across investment accounting, asset classes, and financial markets, and deliver timely information regarding financial statements and analytics reporting.

You will complete operational tasks such as account setup, client lockdowns, reconciliation validation, and collaborate with clients to strengthen their experience with Clearwater.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Finance and/or accounting experience preferred.
• Good understanding of investment accounting and financial statements.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage client inquiries and requests on topics across investment accounting, asset classes, and financial markets.

• Participate in team and client-related long-term projects with internal teams.
• Assist in training and coaching more junior team members.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage client inquiries and requests on various topics across investment accounting, asset classes, and financial markets.
• Deliver timely and accurate information regarding Financial Statements and Analytics Reporting.
• Complete operational tasks such as account setup, client lockdowns, compliance, and reconciliation validation.
• Collaborate directly with clients to build valuable relationships and enhance their experience as a Clearwater user.
• Validate investment data against third-party market data sources and demonstrate proficiency in proprietary internal tools for reconciling investment transactions.
• Navigate knowledge bases and documentation, using internal tools and resources to proactively solve client queries and problems.
• Manage workflow based on productivity and quality metrics, prioritizing high importance or critical work.
• Participate in team and client-related long-term projects involving collaboration with other internal teams.
• Assist in training and coaching more junior team members.

About You

The company is looking for candidates with:

• Good understanding of investment accounting, financial statements, amortization, interest income, and other accounting concepts.
• Intermediate understanding of fixed income and equity investments.
• Finance and/or accounting experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
