Job summary

Pace is seeking a Client Service Technician to join the sample receiving department of our environmental testing laboratory. You'll receive training to perform your role and grow a laboratory sciences career at Pace.

As a dedicated team member, you will coordinate sample-related activities, maintain documentation, and participate in training on lab support policies. The role may involve standing for long periods and wearing PPE; experience in a lab is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting preferred.
• Able to lift up to 20–30 lbs and wear PPE in lab or office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform sample-related activities, including shipping and receiving, processing and administration.
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases.
• Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate and perform sample-related activities, including shipping and receiving, processing and administration
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases
• Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices

What You'll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred, but not required
• Ability to perform work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods, walk throughout the campus, work around strong smells, and wear personal protective equipment while handling samples (e.g., lab coat, safety glasses and gloves; all PPE provided by Pace®).
• Ability to lift weights up to about 20-30 lbs
