City of Indianapolis Marion County seeks a senior supervisor for Marion County Community Corrections facilities. The role oversees team leaders and front-line staff, manages client supervision, and ensures adherence to evidence-based practices. It requires strong leadership, policy interpretation, and incident handling across day-to-day operations.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree and eight years of experience in a similar field or equivalent combination
• Must pass State IRAS certification exam within six months of employment
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Knowledge of leadership, management, contracts, personnel and performance measurement

Mansioni

• Provide input for development and review of policies and procedures relating to community corrections
• Maintain crisis intervention and deescalation skills
• Review and monitor client treatment plans and programs and schedule participation
• Attend court hearings as needed
• Utilize motivational interviewing techniques
• Ensure Eight Principles of Effective Intervention are used daily
• Supervise screening for referrals and coordinate with local and out-of-county/state entities
