Job summary

Trane Technologies in Austin, TX is hiring a Client Service Representative to join our team. You will be responsible for developing long-term customer relationships and maximizing account penetration and customer retention by offering HVAC system‑related solutions.

As a CSR, you will sit on the sales team, report to the Services Sales Leader, and partner with operations to secure retention and growth. The role involves quotes, proposals, and coordinating service transitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or equivalent from a four-year college or university is preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum one (1) year experience in Mechanical Contracting/HVAC or Facilities Management fields preferred.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support assigned customers with HVAC systems & equipment product selections, application, proposals and sales development.
• Quote, close, and transition Technician Leads and other Service repair work under.
• Generate estimates and proposals for service work.
• Provide quotes for service repairs, change outs, IAQ, and energy solutions including quotes for time and material as well as fixed price service.

Trane in Austin, TX is hiring a Client Service Representative to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for developing long-term customer relationships and maximizing account penetration and customer retention by developing/offering HVAC system-related solutions.

What You Will Do

• As a CSR, you will sit on the sales team, reporting directly to the Services Sales Leader and partnering closely with operations to secure account retention and growth.
• Support assigned customers with HVAC systems & equipment product selections, application, proposals and sales development.
• Quote, close, and transition Technician Leads and other Service repair work under.
• Generate estimates and proposals for service work.
• Provide quotes for service repairs, change outs, IAQ, and energy solutions including quotes for time and material as well as fixed price service.
• Prepare transition documents and communicate project readiness for assignment to operations team.

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or equivalent from a four-year college or university is preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum one (1) year experience in Mechanical Contracting/HVAC or Facilities Management fields preferred.
• Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; we prioritize practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with our leadership principles.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems preferred.
