Job summary

Copper Country Community Mental Health is hiring a full-time Client Services Manager/Supports Coordinator to serve in Houghton County, Michigan, with travel to other counties as needed.

Provide services to individuals with serious mental illness and/or developmental disabilities; duties include assessments, creating tailored service plans, progress monitoring, and confidential records management. A related degree and Michigan licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related Human Service field is preferred.
• Current Michigan licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure in Michigan.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience with intellectual/developmental disabilities, mental illness, or children is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Supportive Services to individuals with serious mental illness or developmental disabilities.
• Conduct assessments to understand needs and conditions.
• Create Individual Service Plans using a person-centered approach.
• Monitor and evaluate progress to ensure effectiveness of plans.
• Maintain confidential records in accordance with privacy standards.

Copper Country Community Mental Health is hiring a full-time Client Services Manager/Supports Coordinator to provide services in the Houghton County, Michigan area, with travel to other counties as needed. This position works with people with serious mental illness and/or intellectual/developmental disabilities, some with co-occurring substance use disorders.

WHAT WE OFFER.

• $48,695 - $63,886 annual starting salary based on licensure and experience.

• Full-time Monday - Friday position generally working 8am - 5pm.

WHAT YOU WILL DO.

• Provide Supportive Services. Help individuals with serious mental illness and/or intellectual/developmental disabilities; some with co-occurring substance use disorders.
• Conduct Assessments. Evaluate needs and conditions to better understand each person’s situation.
• Create Individual Service Plans. Develop personalized plans using a person-centered approach to meet each person’s unique needs.
• Monitor and Evaluate. Regularly check progress and performance to ensure that service plans are effective.
• Maintain Confidential Records. Keep all information secure and private, adhering to confidentiality standards.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

• Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling preferred, however, other Human Service or Nursing degrees will be considered.
• Current Michigan licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure in the State of Michigan.
• Experience working with those with intellectual/developmental disabilities, mental illness, and/or children is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to work in Houghton County, Michigan, and travel to surrounding counties as needed.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
