Clinical Laboratories of Hawaii, LLP in Aiea, HI is hiring for a full-time laboratory support role. The position reports to the lab team and involves assisting clients, resolving report discrepancies, and ensuring accurate test specimens and results.

Base hourly pay ranges from $19.74 to $21.71, with a 40-hour work week. The job includes routine access to PHI and requires strong reading, writing, and analytical skills along with prior lab specimen experience.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous training or experience in specimen collection or processing.
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to operate general laboratory equipment, including telephones, computers, centrifuges, and audible alarms.

Mansioni

• Assists or resolves client issues by performing a thorough investigation of the issue, evaluating findings, and responding to the client in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assists in resolving discrepancies in reports by consulting with technical and managerial staff.
• Understands specimen requirements as they pertain to lab testing in order to provide accurate results. Ability to understand differences in specimen types.
• Responsible for client notification of STATs and Criticals.
• Understands and recognizes the Critical values based on the given guidelines and responds appropriately.
• Assists in tracking and monitoring send out tests.
• Assists in problem resolution for future applicability and forwards to the appropriate quality assurance individual (supervisor, manager, pathologist, etc)
• Maintains professional/technical knowledge by reading professional publications and attending continuing education seminars.
• Pursues referenced test results to satisfy client needs and requests.
