Executive Director of Financial Services / Partner - Ascendo Resources
A large and growing Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) is seeking a Client Service Associate to join its dynamic team. The firm serves a sophisticated client base and offers customized investment management solutions across multiple asset classes.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on all service-related requests and administrative matters.
- Support Portfolio Managers in daily account operations and client relationship management.
- Coordinate with banks, custodians, and counterparties to resolve operational issues and ensure seamless execution of transactions.
- Assist in the opening and maintenance of investment accounts, including review of onboarding documentation and completion of KYC/AML requirements.
- Prepare and review subscription documents, fund transfers, and client reporting packages.
- Manage client correspondence, track deliverables, and ensure timely responses to inquiries.
- Prepare and maintain client files, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with firm standards.
- Support the completion of due diligence requests and assist with internal audits or compliance reviews.
- Partner with internal departments (operations, compliance, accounting, portfolio management) to streamline processes and enhance the client experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field required.
- 2+ years of experience in operations or client service within a financial services firm (preferably RIA, private bank, or wealth management environment).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational, project management, and follow-up skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively.
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build trust with high-net-worth clients and external partners.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (both written and verbal) required.
- Knowledge of investment products, account structures, and custodian processes is highly preferred.
