Job description

The Client Service Associate will take responsibility for key aspects supporting the client-facing and operational functions of our wealth management group. This role involves assisting team advisors and planners in managing client accounts daily, following up on action items, and delivering exemplary service to all firm clients and strategic partners. Early in the role, the associate is expected to master the team's process, prepare client deliverables, and interact with primary custodians. Over time, there will be opportunities for more involved client responsibilities. New graduates with a Finance Degree are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for client calls.
  • Facilitate money transfers for clients.
  • Troubleshoot account inquiries for clients.
  • Maintain records in file sharing systems.
  • Handle client reporting, billing, and invoicing.
  • Collaborate with advisors and planners to complete client deliverables.
  • Facilitate new client onboarding processes.
  • Complete client account requests and necessary paperwork.
  • Lead internal team processes.
  • Gather and send key tax reporting documents to clients and their CPAs.
  • Manage annual contributions to IRA accounts.
  • Oversee annual Required Minimum Distributions from IRA accounts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong client relations skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • 1-2 years of experience working at a financial services firm or relevant internship experience.
  • Motivation to pursue a career in Financial Advisory.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Series 65 license or equivalent licensing is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with trading and software platforms such as Fidelity and E Money.
  • Proficiency in financial planning principles.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills to build trust with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in the financial advisor career path.

The position requires working onsite five days a week, with free parking available. The shift is from 7 AM to 4 PM. The firm provides full insurance coverage, a cell phone plan, a 401k with a 3% match, unlimited PTO, and covers CFP certification costs. There is a clear growth track from CSA to Lead Planner to Financial Advisor.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $73000.00 - $85000.00 / yr.
