Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Client Services Representative, Core Tax Services in Madison, WI to support the Core Tax Services team by organizing, coordinating and processing accounts payable data for clients using a cloud-based AP program that integrates with QuickBooks. The role also performs basic bookkeeping and general administrative duties for the tax department.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Five or more years accounts payable processing and bookkeeping experience required.
• Experience in a professional services firm preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meets internal deadlines to ensure timely service delivery and client data processing in line with payment deadlines and filing requirements.
• Responds to client requests regarding meetings and general correspondence.
• Keeps track of required client engagement documents and consents.
• Coordinates all physical correspondence to clients or team members as needed.
• Processes vendor payments accurately and consistently per procedures.
• Collects Form W-9s for client vendors and assists in preparing and filing Form 1096, 1098 and 1099 at year end.
• Maintains files on the BDO Global Portal and shared drive in an organized way.
• Provides client and team administrative support as needed.
• Coordinates software/platform training for team and new hires.
• Researches public information.
• Other duties as required.
