Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics OR Bachelor's degree in other focus area and CPA certification (or Authorization to Test for the CPA exam, or equivalent documentation, prior to start date in your state of employment)
• Masters in Accountancy or Taxation, preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure client compliance with authorities while minimizing tax and reporting burdens; manage projects and timelines
• Answer preparer questions and coordinate engagement from onset with preparers
• Conduct detailed reviews on returns and prepare review notes; identify tax issues
• Meet internal deadlines for timely delivery of service; identify book-to-tax differences
• Identify when research is needed and clearly report analysis
• Prepare provision workpapers and discuss with team members; address uncertain positions
