Job summary

STRATEGIC STAFFING SOLUTIONS in Chicago, IL is seeking a Client Services Analyst for a W2 contract opportunity. The role supports Shareholder Services within an asset management environment, interacting with third-party wealth management clients and sales partners, focusing on Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs).

Qualifications

• Must hold SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 licenses.
• At least 3 years of customer-facing financial services experience, ideally with no more than ~7–8 years total industry experience.
• Experience supporting Financial Advisors, Wealth Management clients, Asset Management products, or Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs).
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Ability to deliver superior client service to internal and external clients.
• Strong client service, relationship management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding leadership, time management, and relationship management skills.
• Resourceful individual with high intellectual curiosity.
• Keen attention to detail and a high sense of urgency, meeting client needs thoroughly and efficiently.
• Experience in financial services, specifically Separately Managed Accounts and service to Financial Advisors.
• Highly self-motivated with strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient PC skills, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, and MS PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships by serving as the primary point of contact for clients and sales channels.
• Support client onboarding, answer client inquiries regarding fund and portfolio information and literature, resolve client-related issues, and execute client lifecycle events.
• Communicate and work closely with the sales force to provide high-quality service to clients.
• Analyze and solve problems independently and collaboratively with the team.
• Monitor and elevate service issues to ensure timely, high-quality responses to clients.
• Support special projects involving asset development, asset retention, and automation initiatives.
• Partner with management and other service representatives to build long-term, successful, and scalable service models.
• Work closely with trading desks to relay the status of trading activity on client accounts.
• Cultivate a service environment focused on enhancing the client experience.
