Job summary

CityVet is seeking a Client Service Specialist to be the clinics' first point of contact, ensuring a pleasant client experience whether on the phone or in person and helping to build loyal brand ambassadors.

The role includes managing appointment check-ins, scheduling, client education, and coordinating proper discharge information across grooming, clinic, walk-ins, technician appointments, boarding and retail needs; you will greet clients and manage delays to maintain a smooth flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage appointment check-ins, book new appointments and coordinate with the team on discharge information for grooming, clinic, walk-ins, technician appointments, boarding and retail appointments.
• Understand, communicate, and properly prioritize scheduled appointments, client education and lobby triage by vaccine, wellness, parasite and retail needs to ensure an efficient schedule and daily workflow.
• Greet and welcome all clients entering the clinic, check patients in, inform clients of delays, care for clients during wait times and alert staff of arrivals.
