Job summary

Jobtailor in Missouri seeks an Insurance Client Services Specialist to respond to routine client inquiries, manage documentation, and coordinate underwriting and endorsements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, risk management, or related field.
• Two years or more of insurance client service experience.
• Active Property & Casualty License.
• Intermediate MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent attention to detail and communicational skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and document routine client inquiries; elevate complex inquiries to senior staff.
• Process daily service needs, including change requests, endorsements, proofs, audits, and policy-related documents.
• Manage activities and follow-ups for open items within expected timeframes.
• Review and process policies and endorsements for coverage, policy content, and form-completion accuracy.
• Assist with new and renewal processes, including information gathering, document preparation, binding, marketing, and related needs.

Job description

• Respond to and document routine client inquiries; elevate complex inquiries to senior staff
• Process daily service needs, including change requests, endorsements, proofs, audits, and policy-related documents
• Manage activities and follow-ups for open items within expected timeframes
• Review and process policies and endorsements for coverage, policy content, and form-completion accuracy
• Assist with new and renewal processes, including information gathering, document preparation, binding, marketing, and related needs
• Prepare client documentation, branded templates, proposals, stewardship materials, and presentations
• Manage internal systems, client portals, and assigned account details using Hylant technology and resources
• Research invoicing and billing questions or issues
• Complete Surplus Lines processes for non-admitted placements, including documentation and invoicing
• Perform other duties and special projects as requested

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, risk management, or similar field of study; equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
• Two (2) or more years of insurance client service experience
• Active Property & Casualty License
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Basic analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Exception oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
