Client Service Representative / Veterinary Receptionist

Desert Tails Animal Clinic is seeking a Client Service Representative to join our team! In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services — for dogs, cats, and exotic pets alike. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment where clients and their pets are treated like family.

Schedule and compensation:

• Compensation: $ 21 - 24 per hour, for each hour worked
• This is a flexible full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Saturday . Alternating Saturdays

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

• 2+ years of experience in a customer service, or veterinary reception role
• Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience required
• Proficiency in the following skills:
  • Ability to manage a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clients
  • Experience working with veterinary practice management software, especially Avimark,preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with a team
  • Ability to remain calm, professional and solution-oriented during busy periods

This is a good-faith estimate based on the role's requirements at the time of posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
